Ferrari F40, 1/43 Herpa

Finally today is a day for some Ferrari. It is not a secret that I collect almost anything that can be considered as a car, sometimes even truck, but in that collecting frenzy I will never say no to a Ferrari. Even if I already have one, I would buy the same model, but made by different manufacturer. There is something about Ferraris that I really love. I don’t actually know what it is, but let us call it attraction. And today we have one bloody attractive model, Ferrari F40.

Konačno je vrijeme da se piše malo i o Ferrarijevim modelima. Nije baš nepoznato da ja sakupljam sve što smatram kvalitetnim modelom u 1/43, čak se ponekad u ovom sakupljanju uzme i po neki kamion ili kombi iako sam sebi obećao da ću se držati samo automobila. U ovoj sakupljčkoj histeriji kupujem i skupljam Ferrarijeve modele sa posebnim žarom. Vrlo često i ako imam neki model kupi isti, ali sada od drugog proizvođača što nekad vodi ka gomili istih modela. Onda se javlja sledeća stavka u sakupljanju kad se počnu sakupljati isti modeli automobila, tako eto dodjoh do Ferrarija F40, tek drugog i mislim da će ih biti još mnogo „istih“. F40, kakav divan auto.

V8 Star VIP TAXI, 1/43 Schuco

These V8 Star cars were something much similar to DTM ones, and are actually racing cars with a bodywork of a normal common cars. These had a V8 engine like the name says and the tubular chassis. None of the cars were branded, and these actually were mockups of Opel, VW, Audi, Jaguar and similar cars. Branding was not an option because none of the manufacturers was involved in this competition series. And here we have a VW Passat like car, that was part of a team called VIP Taxi.

Ovi V8 Star serije su bili automobili vrlo slilčni onima iz DTM serije, ali se kod ovih zapravo radi o trkačkim autima samo sa karoserijom običnih auta. Imali su V8 motore, kako i samo ime kaže, cjevastu šasiju i tijelo je bilo replika nekih već postojićih auta koji su bili svakodnedni prizor na ulicama. Tako nijedan od ovih auta nije nosio oznake proizvođača, a kopirali su modele Audija, BMWa, Wva, Opela, Jaguara itd. Ovdje imamo repliku WV Pasata koja je bila dio tima VIP Taxi.

BMW Z3 M Roadster, 1/18 Bburago

Remember that post about Ferrari F50, http://143ll.blogspot.com/2014/01/ferrari-f50.html? Well this is the same story, not completely the same, but with a lot of similarities. This is a Bburago BMW Z3 M Roadster. I have to say that Bburago did a good job building this one. As I said before, Bburago is more of a toy than a model car, but for a toy it is a pretty god one. Of course if I would start on this, I would say that is the huge lack of details, that all interior parts are made of plastic and nothing is padded inside. All doors are dog-leg, gaps on the openings are too large and so on. But for a beginner or a Bburago, made in Italy, lover this is great model. These Bburago models with Maisto are also most affordable ones with a price around 25-30 Euros or less, and used ones are around 15 to 20 Euros. The case is that these with “Made in Italy” insignia on a bottom are little pricey and their price is varying depending on kind of a model and a year of production. So for all of the beginners in 1/18 scale, you can try with these first.

Da li se sjećate posta o Ferrariju F50, http://143ll.blogspot.com/2014/01/ferrari-f50.html? Pa sad opet imamo istu priču. Dobro ne baš potpuno istu ali vrlo sličnu. Radi se o BMW Z3 M Roadster modelu, koji je izradio Bburago, i mora se reći sa obzirom da se radi o starom Bburago modelu, ovaj je dosta dobar. Naravno opet napomena, Bburago je više igračka nego model ali, kao takav je odličan. Ako bismo zagledali, onda bismo vidjeli da ima dosta mana, u unutrašnjosti ništa nije tapacirano, svi djelovi su plastični, čak sve sem školjke automobila je plastično. Otvaranja su takođe jedna mana, zazori su veliki i vrata su sva na takozvanom dog-leg nosaču. Za početnike ili pak za one koji vole Bburago, posebno za one koji vole ono „Made in Italy“ ovo je odličan model, koji će se lijepo uklopiti u kolekciju. Treba napomenuti da je Bburago zajedno sa Maistom jedan od najpristupačnijih modela na tržištu, i sa cijenom do nekih 25-30 Eura je poprilično pristupačan. Polovni Burago modeli se mogu naći i za nekih 15-20 Eura, a stari Made in Italy, ili popularno Italijani, se kupuju po nešto većim cijenama zavisno od modela o kojem se radi i godine proizvodnje. Svakako za početnike su ovo odlični modeli, koji će dugo biti nezamijenjeni u njihovoj kolekciji.

Ford GT40, 1/43 Ixo Altaya

Long time, no see :)... Well here we are again. We were absent pass few days from blog, because some other obligation took us away, but now we are back. And new models are on table, so we are starting a new month with one legendary car.

Pozdrav kolege kolekcionari, nije nas dugo bilo, bilo je nekih neodložnih obaveza koje sam morao da stavim prije bloga na tapetu. Ali eto nas opet sa novim modelima, iako je počeo februar već neko vrijeme za mene na blogu je ovo početak novg mjeseca. Pa otvaramo ovaj mjesec sa jednim legendarnim autom.

Williams FW14, 1/43 Minichamps

Seasons 1992 was a very successful for both Williams and Renault, and lead them in winning both constructors and drivers championship. The car to do that was FW14, car designed by Adrian Newey. It was in use in 1991 and 1992, with small modifications. Car had 3.5 litre Renault  V10 engine, and a lot of electronics. It was the most electronically sophisticated car in 1992. The car was that successful that its successor FW15C wasn’t driven during 1992 season although it was ready for use in mid season. This one was driven by Nigel Mansell, who have won the championship that year, and he lead the team to their constructor championship. Car made its debut in 1991 US Grand Prix, and raced since the 1993 South Africa Grand Prix when FW15C was introduced. This was a very successful car which has won 17 races during two seasons and collected 125 points in 1991 and 164 points in 1992, which means 289 point during its use, which is astonishing.

1992. godine, sezona u Formuli Jedan je bila vrlo uspješna za Vilijams i Reno, toliko uspješna da ih je povela ka duploj kruni, osvojiši šampionat i u vozačkoj i u konstruktorskoj kategoriji. Auto koji je omogućio tako dobru sezonu je FW14 koji je bio dizajniran od strane Adrijana Njuia i koristio se tokom ’91. i ’92. godine. Sa manjim promjenama , auto koji je vozio Najdžel Mansel i Rikardo Parteze je osvojio 125 poena tokom 1991. godine i još 164 poena tokom 1992. godine, što u zbiru znači 289 poena tokom svoje karijere u Formuli Jedan. Auto je toliko bio uspješan da model FW15C koji je bio spreman na polovini sezone 1992. godine nije ni korišćen te godine, već je debitovao tek sledeće na Velikoj Nagradi Južnoafričke Republike. Auto je imao motor od 3500 kubnih centimetara sa V10 postavkom, koji je proizvodio Reno. Ovo je bio motor koji je uz tehnička čuda te godine veoma lako osvojio šampionat imajući veliku prednost u odnosu na tadašnje Fordove i Ferrarijeve agregate.
