After
a while, here I am with a new post. And there is a Porsche on the blog again.
One of the most iconic cars from Endurance championship. White Martini Porsche
917, winner of 24h Le Mans race 1971. The actual car was driven by now one of leading
people in Red Bull F1 team, Helmut Marko who is head of Red Bull driver
program.
Posle toliko vremena evo mene opet sa novim postom. Danas
na blogu jedan Porsche. Jedan od uspješnijih automobila i sigurno jedna od
ikona Le Man serija, tj. danas Šampionata izdržljivost. Bijeli Marini Porsche
The
model here is made by Ixo in 1/43 scale. The model is crafted nicely, it was
relatively cheap at the time. The model is die cast (made of metal) and is
painted nicely. There are no inconsistencies in the paint and the decals are
nice. Especially nice detail is photo etching, there are a couple of parts that
are photo etched, like part of the exhaust mount, gas cap and windscreen
wipers. So it is a nice detail for a model that is now more than a couple of years
old.
utisak zaista pravog modela.
udebljao. Ali to je možda moj pogrešan sud.
As
far as the flaws of the model are of concern, there are a couple of the cons.
For sure this is the model that sits at the lowest at the quality range. There
are Minichamps and Spark models that are better but Spark is resin and PMA is die
cast model. This Ixo is true Ixo, nice models, but at the entry level of
quality. One of first things that will caught your attention are pins in
headlights. It is something that was usual back then but now are not that much.
The second are plastic, painted and plain back lights with indicators. The
interior is nice but it could be better. And overall the model somehow feels
little bulky and swollen. And the actual car is not like that, so the whole
model should be slicker.
However the price of 15-20 Euros, that is now the value
of this model on market is fine and gives it the advantage over more priced
(double or triple that amount) Minichamps and Spark models. If you like Le Mans
car, and generally Endurance beasts this one is just fine as some entry model.
Very well made for the amount of money it is sold for, and you will probably be
happy with it, at least I am. I really like this one!
Postoje mnogo kvalitetniji Minichamps i Spark
